The Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act 11313) was officially since on April 17, 2019. On July 19th, the law was featured in newspapers such as Manila Bulletins bringing forth awareness to the public. It will help men and women around the world seek the justice they deserve against sexual predators who took advantage of their vulnerability and become accountable for all consequences.

Statistics show that men and women constantly experience sexual harassment and assault whether these unwelcomed actions are done physically, emotionally or through the utilization of technology. In 2019, the number of men and women who are victims of sexual harassment have increased. As shown on the table, women are more likely to be harassed than men since women are viewed by society as weak and powerless. This high number of sexual assault rates urged the government to create a law that protects everyone from sexual predators.

Men and Women for Others continues to empathize with the victims, speak out for those who can not, and incessantly provide a safe haven for conflicted individuals. On this account, morale and respect for genders will sufficiently increase, thereafter, make society a peaceful and better place where suffering and pain will finally disipate.
