The SOGIE bill has been controversial for the past year due to the blunt misconceptions.

Little do certain people know that the SOGIE bill is not only intended for the LGBTQ+ community alone but rather serves as a protection for everyone against discrimination and irrational hate.

As discrimination and prejudice are deeply etched in the history of various countries. The LGBTQ+ community continues to confront this issue on the grounds of equal treatment and respect from other people.

The bill is simply for EQUALITY AND PROTECTION. It will serve as legal protection for anyone so all could live in peace and without judgment. As we all know that equality means ensuring that everyone has the same chance to make the best of their lives and abilities.

Hate has been normalized across the world, which is a terrible reality. It affects our workplaces, how one socializes, whom one asks for help from, and where one purchases products. People in today's world, unfortunately, succumb to hatred.

True equality and justice necessitate self-awareness and comprehension. "When ignorance is our lord, there is no real peace," says Dalai Lama, implying that it is our option to disregard all that is going on and that we, ourselves would be held accountable for humanity's demise.
